75K Marriott points sounds like much, but it isn't. If you're lucky, it'll get you about two
nights at a popular travel destination in the US. Most likely it'll be enough for just one.
IMO the best points to earn are from programs that transfers to airlines (Amex, Chase, Citi) or cash back. Hotel points make for poor redemptions.
