For me, it comes down to Ludwig's P5 OC experience combined with how the

talent level has changed since Chow and Erickson were calling the plays. Not to mention that this year's squad has a ton of experience. Plus, it seems like Whitt has figured out some things, albeit slowly. Given all these factors, I think there's a high likelihood that the O is better this year. It would be really difficult for it to be worse.
