Walk-on
I would get them when you get to Paris. They
have machines at most metro stops (subway) where you can buy them. When we were there we just bought a book of 20 metro tickets. It’s just 20 individual tickets but it’s easier than having to pay for a ticket every time you want to use the metro.

For transport within the Paris region (Île-de-France), definitely buy there

I’ll be there Saturday-Thursday. What do you recommend?

The RER or metro will get you anywhere you want to go

Are the tickets good for the metro or the RER or both?
Mr. Belding

The metro tickets will work in the RER for zones 1-2, not beyond
