I think what ever word you use should be used for both teams
SC Resume: Beat Wazzu (20), Zona (65), Colorado (72), OSU (115), & UNLV(126)
BYU resume: Beat Wisc(25), Zona (65), WMU (106), HAW (117), NMSU (126), Umass (138) & Mcneese St NR
Both lost to Utah & Cal.
Byu had an average sos of mid-60s
Usc had an average sos of 40s
I think if SC ended the season with Umass, Haw, NMSU they also would be bowl eligible. Teams are similar than one would think. I think BYU overachieved and SC underwhelmed.
