Out of all the European areas we spent time in...The area around Garmisch, Germany was our favorite.

We lived in Germany for 9 years and the Azores for 2.5. It was fun to plan a quick trip to Paris or Amsterdam for the weekend. Now that we live in the states, we're lucky if we travel 3 hours to Vegas. I miss that life. People need to stop jumping in front of trains so I can get a day off to go fishing.
