Our Defense should be a bit better than last year and our offense at least a bit worse. I think the loss of the top 3 receivers is a bit overblown. Love spread the ball well and I think the younger WRs will step up. I do think we will miss some of the height of those WRs. Our RBs should be solid and not much of a drop from last year. Our OL is what scares me most on offense. We lost 4 of 5 starters. Our backups got good playing time but that is my biggest concern.

Our defense will be real solid in the front 7 but could be liable to deep throws. We kept Woodward (all-american LB), Galeai, and great players up front. But we lost basically all of our CBs and Safety's. Hopefully they can get in the swing quickly. Once again they got reps last season but I am not confident that they show up as well. Last season we did a great job creating turnovers and I am not sure that this defense will be able to get as many picks and pick sixes as last year.

I think this is a pretty good assessment of USU next year. Plenty of question marks but there is certainly some promise.
