How good/bad this is depends on what they put on it.
If teams have nearly all football and most basketball on more traditional channels, ESPN+ is not a bad method for olympic sports and the occasional basketball game. Even a football game a season (FCS game, etc.) on ESPN+ is fine.
Compared to P12 model of having your own channel, isn't this better? And compared to, say, the ACC (with its own network, but pretty much part of ESPN, right) how different is this?
