I'm really leery of the Nuggets - they have a deep, well-rounded team PLUS
the ability to make an in-season move to put them over the top. For starters, Jamaal Murray has the potential to take another step forward and become an All-Star caliber guard. They also have good prospects and tradeable contracts that could bring back the final piece. For example, what if they decide they need a veteran point guard? Paul Milsap's expiring contract, Juan Hernangomez, and a future draft pick could probably get them Chris Paul. Or if they don't want to lose Milsap, they could do something like Plumlee, Hernangomez, and Garry Harris and probably not even have to give up a draft pick. Michael Porter could be used as trade bait, if he doesn't emerge as a member of the rotation. They have so many quality, useful pieces that there are a number of ways they could go about addressing their needs.
