Kidd became a decent spot up 3 pt shooter, but he’s top 10 in 3’s made because he played a long time in the 3 point era and spent the last half of his career as mostly just a spot up 3 guy.
Go look at his efg% or TS%...Booker blows him out of the water. Kidd had two whole years with a TS% over .550 and they both came after the age of 35 in his Dallas years. He had five years with an efg% over .500, again all after he went back to Dallas in his mid 30’s. He was not a good shooter.
He was a career .464 efg%. .457 in his Phoenix days. Rubio was .468 with the Jazz. Kidd’s Career TS% was .507, Rubio was .527 with the jazz. Again, Kidd was a bad shooter.
