There’s been a change this year in how Madden rates players. They’re trying to make a bigger gap between stars and regular players, so now the lower rated players are even further down than they have been in the past. So while this looks like a huge snub, it’s comparable to him being a ~65 in the past.

That being said, Madden is a joke. Every other sports game (other than NBA Live) is head and shoulders above Madden, to the point where it’s not even worth getting.
