The Utah D-Line is its strongest position group. Its opponents have to be able to run enough to keep the defense honest.
I am just giving credit to a very solid performance, and also wondering if BYU can replicate it, but for 4 quarters next time.

He averaged 3ypc v. Utah.

True, but Burt only averaged 1.5 yards.

Hadley played his guts out. Very solid performance. Didn't carve Utah up tho.

Which is deceptive and goes against the Ute narrative

He got yards when needed and also into the endzone once on a short yardage situation.

Utah was looking ahead to Washington and couldn't see him. 😉

You are giving a lot credit to a guy who had 3 ok runs and otherwise 1.7 ypc

You mean, when he was injured?

I think BYU came out with a solid gameplan and fooled Utah for a bit

I’m not sure I said that either. But he had a solid game and helped open up

Also, not bad for a 6th strong running back against a good defense

We have different definitions of "very solid"
Medute
7/16/19 10:33am
Two short yard TDs on your Ute D-Line doesn't qualify as "very solid"? Maybe you aren't giving your D-Line much credit?

I guess we could look at those two TDs a bit more critically

Which brings us back to my original question. Was it his skill, O-line, or scheme. But the fact remains that

BYU had 7 third down conversions for the game 4 came from Wilson runs
