sit in a recliner and nap your life away. It means you have time to do whatever you want whenever you want. You can still work if you want to. I know a few retired people who work because they love it. One guy who has a multi-million dollar net worth and chooses to work a part time job at Lowe's. He loves it. You can golf, fish, travel, hobby, etc... People who try easy chair retirement will probably be unsatisfied with life and will ultimately die sooner.
