Having lived in Canada all my life I enjoyed summers and hated winters.

Now my kids love winters when they can go on hikes and trail walks and play in the park, summers they travel and see family on their days off and swim all the time.

My kids went from being weak swimmers to all being very confident in the water. They also love being more active year round and rarely go long without some sort of fun outdoor adventure.

No disrespect to any who disagree but I would never go back to cold again if I can help it.
