Yes, I'm a Ute fan that is bored out of his mind waiting for the season to start so I play on cougarboard for entertainment.

I was at the Sugar Bowl and knew we didn't have a chance.  It quickly became obvious that Alabama didn't bring their "A" game.  If we would have played them 10 more times, they would have beaten us 8 or 9 out of 10.  But on that day, we were the better team because we came to play.  That was our superbowl.  By the time Alabama woke up, we were too far ahead and also had some injury help.

I only bring that up because BYU has treated Utah as their Superbowl the past few years because of the win streak and last year...for about 100 different reasons, Utah was not dialed in the first half of the game.

That is why this years game is so big...Utah will come in focused and healthy and so will BYU becasue it is the opener.  It will be a great game to settle all of this talk...neither team can make an excuse this year.  I still cheer for Boise and Utah State against the big boys...I honestly don't cheer for BYU anymore because all you have to do is spend 2 seconds on this site and you can see the disdain that so many of the cougar faithful have for Utah fans, the team, and the University.
