Oh I get that. Their strictness and pickiness are some of the big cons
A few weeds and brown patches on lawns are perfectly understandable. HOAs need to chill out if a lawn doesn’t look perfect and things like that.
A big eye-roll for me was that we had to ask permission, by filling out an application, to get Directv and they had a bunch of rules on mounting the dish.
