Maybe their plans changed after a bit of a pleasant surprise to start the season. But, it's a seller's market, Greinke's value is the highest it has been since they signed him and while they are in the wildcard chase, it's a pretty crowded field.

And, other teams in the chase (Brewers, Cardinals, and Phillies) are all in this year. They've all made trades and FA decisions to win now and are more likely to be aggressive at the deadline.

Upgrading any bullpen will be a tall task. There are lots of teams looking to make upgrades there.
