Tiger has given 20 years worth of the most boring interviews ever. "I'm happy the way I played. I hit it really well. I putted really well. It was really, really tough out there."
But I get what you are saying. His playing style transformed the game. Other than John Daly (also got his fair share of media coverage), the PGA was patient and plodding until Tiger arrived on scene and started attacking courses. His fist pumps brought Tiger roars which scared the crap out of his competitors. Venerated championships scrambled to "Tiger proof" their courses.
Koepka is anything but a patient, plodding golfer. I love watching him play, but I guess he isn't everyone's cup of tea.
