Not sure there is a connection but she posted yesterday on her Instagram story (which is only up for 24 hours and recently expired). She said she was dealing with a medical emergency (wasn't clear who's emergency) and that orders on her online store would be delayed a few days and anyone wanting a refund because of the delay would be given one.

I would think Nick's decision to retire would be one that was thought out for a long time but it was curious timing that he announces his decision to retire 22 hours later.
