No. I'm a Ute, and I think it's silly. Do I think Utah could make the Rose Bowl? Yeah, if a few things go our way. But
the playoff? No. That would require luck beyond that which is reasonable- beating USC @ the Coliseum for the first time since... 1916, beating Washington State, beating Washington in Seattle, beating both Arizona schools, AND THEN beating Oregon/Washington in Santa Clara? No.
I'd love to be wrong. There are a few people who think Utah could be 12-1 and make the playoff. Idaho State and NIU are weak. Utah would have to be undefeated, and I would NEVER predict an undefeated season. Hubris...
