Wife and I are in search of some really comfy bed sheets. The ones we have now are just average ones we've had for a while. Bought the best reviewed ones on Amazon and they feel the exact same as our old ones.

Where should I look? Anyone know what's a good thread count? I just want something soft that is breathable. We have a very cool mattress and I sleep pretty hot and it seems like our current sheets negate the cooling effects of our mattress.
