I went to game 6 of the WS two years ago at Dodgers stadium with my buddy Gary Cooper. I don’t know if you know who Gary is but he’s and all time great baseball player from BYU and he played in the MLB for the Astros but he grew up a Dodgers fan and he and I hit the road and went to game 6.

We dumped about $1,300.00 each for tickets to sit in the right field bleachers, which is actually pretty nice because that is all you can eat, and we got in our Dodgers gear and had a great time at the game and of course watched the Dodgers win.

There were some Astros fans sitting right behind us and Gary is a funny outgoing dude so we had a good time during the game teasing them, etc.

Well about the 7th inning Gary really stated messing with them and started asking them stuff like “Who’s your favorite all time Astro?” and stuff like that. And of course they replied “Caminiti, Biggio, Bagwell,” etc. and Gary was messing with them and saying “yea those guys were ok”, keep in mind those are guys he played with and his buddies bit these fans didn’t know that and Gary was decked out in Dodgers gear anyway.

But I had this picture on my phone of him in uniform in the Astros dugout back when he played which I pulled up and I asked them “What about this guy?”




They looked at that picture, then looked at him in his Dodgers gear and said “What the H...!” with a look of complete bewilderment and disgust and Gary and I both laughed our heads off 😂
