My dad took me fishing every other week when I was young.
Of all the crap they bought me when I was a kid, I only have 1 material thing left. I still have my Penn Jigmaster 500 that I use very regularly. All of that other stuff is gone. I have great memories and a great reel (one that I plan on using on Saturday).
