Surprise money in the mail is always awesome too. A check for $600 showed up today and we have no idea why.
Three years ago we got a check for like $2,000 refunding us property tax paid, because we had bought the house from Highland City which supposedly exempted the house from property taxes for the whole year. We thought it would just be for the period of the year before we bought it, but when we called the assessor he told us to just keep it.
