The offer sheets for the O-Line is impressive — especially when you consider the fact BYU hasn’t had an offensive lineman drafted since 2005. BYU’s done a great job of bringing in highly touted linemen, and they have high expectations this season. When you’re starting the season against Phil Steele’s “best D-Line in the country”, you better have some high-level guys up front, and BYU seems to have some.
Ty’Son William’s offer sheet has to be the most impressive of any BYU running back ever. But those offers and accolades are from 2014. He seems poised to have a big year and get back on NFL scouts’ radar.
Zach Wilson has an impressive list. We are lucky to have him. Growing up immersed in the Utes, I’m sure he was exposed to plenty of anti-BYU rhetoric.
The WR’s and TE’s obviously have the skinniest offer sheets. Outside of Bushman and Romney, not a lot of interest coming out of high school. Historically, WR and DB seem to both be the positions BYU struggles with the most in terms of getting highly rated recruits.
