School is just a product of the working day. None of it makes much sense. It
could be shortened to half of what it is now and the kids would be just fine scholastically. You could have a 9-1 school day from October to February and all would be just fine. Kids would get more sleep, more outdoor time, more family time. The overall health of the student would be much better and scholastically they'd be just the same. So much wasted time and resources on school.

We had year round school where I grew up with different tracks but, essentially, the breaks were spread out a couple
