Koz unfortunately had his knee wrecked as a senior. Back in the day, those were tougher to recover from, and I’m not sure he ever made it all the way back to 100%.
Even so, he stuck in the league for years as a special teams guy. I recall reading something to the effect that Ditka just couldn’t cut him, even though he’d expect to before every season. Koz was too tough to get rid of.
Collie is the GOAT. Hoffman deserves his place in the conversation and has the #’s, but I think a strong argument can be made for Koz as the next-best we’ve had at wideout.
