Here is how my commute breaks down . . .
When I slug (hitchhike) to work:
10 minutes - home to commuter lot
0-20 minutes - wait to find somebody to drive me into the city
35-infinity (but most likely 45 minutes) - ride in to the city
15 minutes - walk from drop off point to my office
TOTAL: 1 hour to ???
When I take the train:
15 minutes - home to train station
1 hour 12 minutes - train ride into city
10 minutes - walk from train station to home
Total - 1 hour 27 minutes
10 minutes - home to commuter lot
