Hard to stop coloring once you start...my wife this year decided to let her hair
go natural salt and pepper gray at the age of 52. Problem is that it has been 8+ months and she has been tempted numerous times to go back to coloring. It just takes so long for it to grow out and so she has been dealing with the bottom half being light brown and the rest salt and pepper gray.

She refuses to do the pixie cut...so I just keep reminding her that if she goes ahead and dyes her hair again, it will just take another year to get rid of it.

I think by Christmas it will mostly be fully grown out.

It is surprising what a difference it makes. Her color now is a cool tone color versus a warm tone color. I wonder how many wardrobe changes she makes to match.
