For starters, let's agree on these 2 things:
1) The linebacker offer is very impressive (which is usually the case at BYU)
2) The secondary offer list is completely average for BYU for obvious reasons.
It really comes down the defensive line. Sitake changed systems from the 3-4 to the 4-3. That requires bodies, so there's some on the list that wouldn't be there if we were still playing a 4-3. A few of the guys were "under the radar" early offer players. Others were just BYU type players and didn't really make an effort to market themselves after getting a BYU offer.
