They also rank the for the past 100 years, past 75 yrs, past 50 years, past 35 year, etc. They haven't updated their rankings since 2015 (doesn't reflect the last 3 seasons) so it is a few years outdated but still interesting nonetheless. The biggest component in their formula are winning percentage and schedule strength. They also award points for winning national championships as well as for playing in the major bowl games (NY6/BCS/Bowl Alliance types of games).
