They make fun of beliefs throughout, twisting a few of them and/or over-hyping/giving more weight to some things than we do. Other small inaccuracies like claiming that no one besides Joseph saw the plates, etc. But at the very end of it they essentially throw a bone in there saying that it can actually be good to have something to believe in. So, by doing that it makes it okay that they make fun of another religion.
