There is a Wendy's by my work that is terrible at getting orders right
Is it really that hard?

Literally like one out of three times my order is messed up. And it's usually just me ordering something for myself for lunch not even a large family order.

The other day they just gave me the complete wrong order. Another time I asked for no mayo or pickles and they inexplicably added mustard...

It's so bad it's gotten to the point where I will open up my food and check everything before I drive away because I have been burned by them to many times. Unfortunately, there isn't many other food options close by or else I would have stopped going there a long time ago.

Anyone work in fast food want to defend messing up orders? Is that job harder than we think it is? Because it seems like something that should always be 100% right and a system should be put in place that is essentially fool proof. I'm guessing there is but apathy and incompetence by the staff still manages to mess everything up.
