A couple weeks ago, I randomly started checking up on a few of the Coug Alumni in the NFL camps and saw that both Kaufusi brothers were having good camps and have a chance at making the 2 deep for the Jets and probably the practice squad for the Saints, if not the 53 man roster. Bronson has made big strides since becoming healthy and they are really impressed with his ability to close the gap and wrapping up once he gets his long arms on an opponent. Even though his 40 time was average as a rookie, they talked about his high IQ and always finding a way to get to the QB or RB, regardless of angle. The few articles that I read had him not only making the team but stepping up as a leader and possibly starter.
As for Harvey Langi, I am really pulling for him. He really had a big un-drafted free agent rookie contract with the Patriots and was looking at contributing next to Van Noy his rookie year, but that awful car accident could easily have ended the lives of both he and his wife. Seeing that he is healed up and probably going to make the 53 man roster or practice squad, just a year after a hip or pelvis injury( I can't remember which) and surgery, is really amazing. I hope that both BYU and Utah fans are pulling for Langi, as he helped both schools by playing with a lot of heart and is showing his work ethic as he and his wife both have had to overcome one of the biggest trials that I hope they ever experience. Corbin is having a good 3rd quarter, as I write this. Hopefully, fan favorite, Taysom Hill's ability to become Coach Sean Peyton's swiss army knife player and the player many coaches are now trying to find for their own team, will help Corbin make the roster.
