I have a good sized duffle hey that i usually use when i travel for shorter trips
It's light and easy to carry. I just sling it over my shoulder and then both my hands are free. That, to me, is just as easy as a carry-on rolling luggage.
If I'm traveling with stuff for more than 3 days than I usually take a bigger suitcase that rolls.
