That's one guy. They only have one top-30 rated unit on offense and that is
QB (Phil Steele). Most weren't even ranked top 40.
This is Steele's ranking of their units:
QB- 8
RB- UR
WR- 56
OL- 40
DL- 48
LB- 52
DB- 25
ST- UR
That doesn't look like a top 25 team. A good QB doesn't do it for you even in college. They're 73rd in the nation in his experience chart. Lost a lot on defense, top RB and WR. Their OL looks really young and inexperienced.
They've got a bit to go to be a good team, let alone a top 25 team. There's no basis for a pre-season ranking spot for them.
