They recommended it as it would allow them to move the system a few feet which would then enable the last bit of bendable duct work to not have to take such a hard angle coming into the equipment. Looking back at it now I regret skipping out on that suggestion.

When my downstairs system goes out I'll have them do that work and then go back and do what they originally wanted on the other system.
