"Weight gain" is one of the effects of the disease, not just "it makes it
easier". I can't really speak to how much she eats in a given day, but I do know that even following religiously several diets proposed by her medical team, nothing so far has worked.

I agree that various medical issues can affect one's body in ways that can make it easier to gain fat, but if it's true
