So, I FINALLY decided to look at a yewt preview to see what all the hype was
about. It …...pained me....to do so, but like a toilet that needs plunging, I felt it needed to be done. I feel dirty.

Anyways, the hype is they return a bunch of players. From last years team, which, was hit and miss. Moss will be tough, Huntley may be as well. However, if we can stop the run, or limit it, it will be up to their passing game which should be mediocre.

Their defense is anchored by a staunch d-line, who we ran all over until we were forced to our 5th or so back up, which if I remember right, came straight from our back up linebacker cores.

I like our chances here. We were both beat up teams when we played last year, but they were deeper and pulled out the miracle come back. This year, we will both be at full strength, and whether they like it or we did have their number last year. I hate Holmoe's 'best half of the year' thing but he does have a point.

Bottom line is BYU has nothing to lose, comes out strong at the beginning of the seasons, and we have a lot to give us hope. Yewts have all the pressure, and from my limited, gross and disgusting, exposure to their start of the year teams, they often look disorganized and inept on offense. New coordinator this year, as always, doesn't lend a lot of confidence either.

So, I'm picking BYU for the win. With Zach full strength, and our solid running backs healthy and better than we have been for a long time, I think they won't keep up. So long as we don't resort to our 5th string rb again.

BYU 34, yewts 17

Now for something far more pleasant than reading about the yewts, I think I'll go look for some plugged up toilets to plunge.
