His family grew up as Utah fans.... Utah, as BYU has done many times, made a mistake in recruiting and lost a talented athlete who has not only proven to be a great player, so far, but has been embraced by the BYU fanbase. Things like this are meaningless and I think this is a feel-good story for BYU instead of some kind of knock on Wilson that his Dad played for Utah instead of BYU and so he grew up a Utah fan.... I think the really cool part of this story is how much his family has responded to BYU and been such a positive addition. His Mom and Dad must be just amazing people.
