By the time we get to games 3 and 4 we are into our 2 and 3 deeps. 2015 was a prime example: we were statistically better than UCLA and matched up well with Michigan, but we faltered late against UCLA and got boat-raced by Michigan. I don't think it's a coincidence that our lone win prior to last year came when we played two G5s before we played Virginia. I also think it's why we're facing our worst stretch in 50 years against USU, which is usually game 5.
