I'll come to boat ownership defense. If you can store it for free and know how
do your own winterizing and un winterizing and what not it's not bad. Gotta buy a reliable one too so do some research.
I've co owned a boat for 7 years now and it's been pretty great and low maintenance.
but yeah, if you have to pay to store it and pay others to do basic maintenance - forget it.
