It’s pretty sad when people say BYU will likely never get a fair shot at
the playoff because they don’t schedule enough P5 teams. I don’t see BYU going undefeated regardless in the immediate future, but let’s say we were able to drop on 2-3 G5 teams each year for 2-3 lower level P5 teams.

This year instead of going at Toledo we were traveling to Wake Forest, instead of going to Umass we were playing Pitt and finally instead of San Diego St we were going to Vanderbilt. I believe the perception would drastically change even if the schedule isn’t that much more difficult.
