I’m biased, but this was a great tackle. My son is a QB on his high school team and he threw a pass that the receiver caught but then fumbled after getting hit. My son chased him down and, well, let him know how he felt about that. He’s never been shy of contact, and the coaches finally saw it last night as they never wanted him to play defense because he’s a QB and thus fragile. Anyway, today the coaches told him that they were going to start playing him at safety. He won’t start - he’s never played the position before - but maybe he will next year. He’s still QB and will be patient to wait to start there, but maybe he’ll get some fun in while waiting. Here’s the play:
