I think an undefeated pac12 champ gets in over an a 1-loss at large team.
Whether it’s Bama, Clemson, Ohio St. whoever, if you win a P5 conference and are undefeated, you’re not getting bumped for a 1-loss team.
If you get undefeated conference champs from all P5s, then obviously someone’s getting left out, but I think the chances of that happening are extremely low.
That being said, I think this discussion underlines the need to expand the playoff.
