The only thing that was over the top for me was the airplane
IIRC a BYU fan paid an airplane to fly a banner that said “Harline is still open,” at a Utah away game (maybe Oregon st.,?)
I think that type of trolling is usually funny especially if done at the next year’s BYU v Utah game, but doing it at another team’s place was too obsessive in my opinion. For years I’d heard that Utah was obsessed with BYU at an unhealthy level but when that happened I think it turned the tables; it seems like something Utah would have done to BYU in the 90s.
