are they focused on grades, ACT, essays, leadership, service, extracurriculars? it may be too late to do more in those areas, but there's still time to improve in some of them.

obviously date deadlines are very important, make sure you are tracking when to have the application in, when do you sign up for on-campus housing, when are scholarship deadlines, etc.
