You might even say that USC and Stanford could leapfrog Utah. USC has way more upside and talent.

With that said, Utah will be pretty good this year. They're well coached and good in the trenches, which generally keeps them competitive in some games.

Pac12 is overall pretty mediocre as a league though, such that, by season's end, even a 1-2 loss Pac12 team is probably out of the playoff...yet again.
