Bronco's worst losses as an independent were against P5's.

I would nominate the loss to Virginia that ended up winning 2 games. The loss to Missouri in Kansas City and the loss to a banged up Utah in 2012 as his worst losses.

Yet so many in our fanbase think losing to a 11 win SJSU or a 10 win Utah St are bad losses. It's so strange to me.

Bronco didn't lose to UMASS...at home.

No he did not. He did, however, lose at SJSU in 2012. Pretty close.

SJSU is a bad loss, but UMASS is probably a low point in the history of the football program.

SJSU went 11-2 that year. Not close. The '14 losses to USU and Nevada are closer
