My grandpa passed away earlier today at the age of 85 due to complications from Parkinson's disease. We've been expecting this for a long time, but it's still hard. I'm glad he's not suffering anymore.

My Grandma said he was watching the Tennessee game on Saturday night, and though he was unable to speak he had a slight smile on his face and seemed to pump his arms when BYU made big plays. I'm glad he got to see that win before he passed.

I miss him already. RIP Grandpa.
