for the play to develop and how open Hoffman was and how long it took for Riley Nelson to throw.  I think Riley had Hoffman in plain sight and just totally threw a bad pass.  Very likely could have been a TD.  Heard about this play but never saw it until now.  

Painful to watch.  Beating ND at ND would have been a huge feather in our cap.
